Workshop

Velo Rouge Cycling operates from a fully equipped workshop and although based in Corsham, Wiltshire we offer a fully mobile service and we can either collect your bike from your home or workplace and return it after carrying out whatever works are necessary in our workshop, or we can do the work on site - whichever you prefer. Collection and delivery within 20km of Corsham is free of charge, thereafter there is a nominal mileage charge.

All costs will be agreed with you beforehand, or should anything unexpected become apparent whilst stripping down your bike we will contact you for further instructions before proceeding. As a general guide, service costs are shown below, however we do much more than servicing and we are happy to discuss any works to your bike or wheels, no matter how small.

PRICE LIST - Note: all costs exclude parts supply (no parts will be replaced without your authorisation and confirmation of preferred manufacturer and model, removed parts will be retained for your inspection).

LEVEL 1 Bronze Service £40.00

Full safety check.
Check brakes, cables and outers, adjust cables & blocks as necessary.
Check front and rear derailleurs, cables & outers, lubricate and adjust.
Check chain wear and condition, lubricate.
Check tyre condition & wear.

LEVEL 2 Silver Service £65.00

As Level 1 Bronze Service plus:
Replace brake and gear cables and housings where required (parts chargeable).
Clean and lubricate cassette/freewheel.
Check bottom bracket and headset bearings, lubricate as necessary.
Check wheel hubs, clean, lubricate as necessary.
Minor wheel true (tyres on)
Hydraulic brakes, if fitted, checked.

LEVEL 3 Gold Service £145.00

As Level 2 Silver Service plus:
Wheels trued (tyres/tubes/tape off).
Headset removed, cleaned & re-greased.
Bottom bracket removed, re-greased and refitted (unless press-fit).
All threads cleaned and re-greased.
Brake and gear cables and cable housings replaced.
Frame, forks, wheels etc., cleaned & polished.
